HCl Finds Lost Sounds
http://student.dei.uc.pt/~mbrito/mgi/under.wav - Maestro and Stiletto: seems like an alternate scene to the one where Maestro says "You know Stiletto, i've noticed by the way you ignore me that you're extremely attracted to me."
I recognise this one, where you fail to complete the first part of the dual mission.

I dunno about the other two, I haven't the chance to hear them yet. But all I remember was Rachel having some very bad mood swings! As in "Iceman would have been proud... You'll be lucky to stay on the flight roster... Iceman would have been..." etc. :)

Six Legs Were Made For Walking
The 'capital ship,' above is immense in story scale, measuring avout fifty kilometers in length. The command level is at the top. The spherical front end opens in an iris-like maw that can spew out hundreds of bio-mechanical fighter ships to form a frightening attack.
Yikes! More than twice the length of the Kilrathi dreadnought, and much more massive too! Pity it got cut down to about a kilometre.

The Wing Commander Series was a DOS/PC game. Since I prefer the technical elegance of the MacIntosh platform, I have never seen my designs onscreen, nor did I ever receive any feedback from the Origin group that produced the game.
No feedback? How rude. But, really, MacIntosh and elegance? :) If I were him, I would have wanted to see how my work turned out. And judging from the concept sketches, I think Origin did a good job with it.

Valiant explorers Hades and LOAF intend to bring pictures of the final Nephilim with us to DragonCon...

Ugh, is this on the front page today?

They force us to use a transparent proxy - meaning stuff gets cached. And unless we use another proxy, it's forced, we can't refresh content ourselves. Telstra have recently (yesterday) stopped us from using their proxies.

There's a bit of a bitch post in my CHAU column about it.

:(

I sure hope it will be...

Well, if it all works out this year, we'll do something way bigger next year. And you'd all better come to that :)

If it wasn't a 1000 dollar plane trip away I would go. When you are there, find some higher up of the dragoncon organizers and ask them if they could have it in Philly or NYC next year, please

NYC? I'm going down there from Buffalo. :) There are always wasys

I don't think DragonCOn will be moving any time soon... but being near NYC is nothing compared to, say, Hades who's flying from England <G>

(Atlanta is *not* a thousand dollar planetrip if you reserve your tickets any time resembling in advance -- it's a major hub (the most major hub, possible) and thus a very cheap trip <G>

(Or you could take a bus, which is very cheap.)

LOL Napoleon!! Where do you buy your plane tickets? At RipOff Airlines United? ;)

A two way plane ticket from Montreal or New York to Paris costs around $650 CAD low season and around $900 CAD high season... hence it's even less in US dollars...
And these are OVERSEAS flights...

I'm sure it'd be a lot cheaper for in-country flights, even in the US... :)

They've got tickets from DC to Paris for under $200 right now...

I could fly to Atlanta for sixty dollars.

(But I'm driving, for the thrill of the road trip...)

...Are you sure "thrill" is the most appropriate word to use here?...

Is Dragoncon a yearly thing? If so I might just see if I could schedule for a future year. This is a massive Sci Fi convention, right?

I'd like to head out to DraconCon sometime, but i'm usually dead broke. And if I drove it's at least a good 6 or 7 hour drive. But, maybe one day i'll stop being lazy.

It's the largest Sci Fi convention in North America... the CIC & the Origin Museum are setting up a table there. And a bunch of WC fans are getting together.

Ahh. No doubt most things will be drowned out by all things StarWars and StarTrek though :/

Hey, if you see anyone walking around in one of them Star Trek officers uniforms, give him a knock on the back of the head and 'borrow' his uniform to send back for me, yeh? :P

LOAF, so will you be walking around in a BlackLance uniform? :)
