Whatever happened to Knight?

Is Knight one of the pilots mentioned in the winning track too? Just after Jazz has ejected, Bluehair has him lined up in his sights and says something like:

"Justice for Hunter, Knight, Halcyon..." Then Angel comes and tractors him in, "Justice is decided in the courts, not with particle cannons"

I find Knight much better in SM1, on the Sivar offensive mission he scored 7 kills before getting wasted. For me, Spirit is the worst Wingman of all, especially during the Gwenhyvar mission with all those Rapiers, she was just useless.
:( Spirit was always one of my best wingmen, even during that mission. I guess I just have a way with her ;)

It could be that Doomsday is only referring to the survivors of the Claw's final battle. As for Knight I'm pretty sure I remember seeing someone eject from his Broadsword in the movie.

Agreed. Hawk and others would have transferred out by then. But hey I thought Shotglass died on the TC. Didnt it say in the WC1&2 strategy guide that he had died on the Claw?

I think anyone who thinks they saw an escape pod in the movie is making things up. The action happens around 55 minutes into the film on my DVD copy.

There's some shrapnel that shoots off to the lower right corner of the screen for a fraction of a second, but it can't be an escape pod - I think they're a bit too small, and heading in the wrong way from the explosions. Sadly, the movie Knight got vaped into blue plasma.

But worry not, if you believe in WC Movie Lore: If Knight died, then he never really did exist...

But if Knight didn't exist, then he couldn't have died, but if he didn't die then he must have existed, but he died so he didn't exist.....

For that matter, who says it's the same Knight. I don't believe the movie ever names it's "Knight" Joseph Khumalo (although I could be wrong on that...been a while since I saw it). I can't imagine that "Knight" is that uncommon a nickname or callsign, and Tiger's Claw does have something like a hundred fighters, and probably at least fifty or so pilots.

I'm not sure but I think the Terran Confederation Handbook lists him as the WC1 Knight but I really could be mistaken and I can't check.
