That's a stupid reason to buy something, IMO.
 
um you don't need to make RF win9x compatible. RF is a .bat file all it contains is privater -r. Basically all it does is get's priv to use the RF tre file. All you'll need to edit is the priv.exe then RF will automatically run without any additional tweaking.
 
Mav23 I like every Wc product.I liked the movie but not very much.Where is the stupidity? Cause I bought it on DVD even if I didnt like it that much ????:mad:
 
I only buy a DVD if I feel I'm going to watch it freqently. This keeps my collection small and manageable, as I'm not willing to compete with the video rentals.

Frankly, WC didn't make that short list.

He said he bought it because he was a fan... ie, he likes it. Buying something because you like it is *stupid* :)?
 
I misunderstood him. I thought he said that he didn't really like the movie, but he bought it anyway because he was a WC fan. THAT IS STUPID in my opinion. Now, when he responded and clarified that he did like the movie somewhat, it's not so stupid ;)
 
NO NO NO.I will never buy something if I dont like it.I just said that I didnt like it that much.I always buy DVD`s from classic movies or movies that I really really like.The only exception is WCM.I liked it ,but not as much as the other movies I have.
 
That does bring up an interesting point. I bought Privateer 2 simply because I knew it was supposed to be based on the WC universe. I didn't much care for it, (please no feedback it's a personal preference) However, even though I only played it once I keep it simply to have a complete WC collection. Same thing with the movie. I wanted to see it simply because it said Wing Commander. I'd never heard of Freddie Prinz or Matthew Lilliard before. They could have trotted out 2 chihuahua's in space suits and I still would have watched it, if it said WING COMMANDER! I think lots of people buy things as fans that they may not even like. What do you think? Any experiences with this?:)
 
Thats what I did with Prophecy and Privateer2.Only because it had "WingCommander" on top!(well maybe Privateer2 doesnt have, but I knew it was in the Wc univerce from Privateer2).
The same with the books....
If something is new you dont really know how good it is,you must check it!(I never read Reviews/Previews in magazines etc cause I never trust them..)


To tell you the truth I will buy every new Wc product just cause its a WC.I want to believe that they are gonna be as excellent as the old ones.............................

I want to believe that too! And yes I'll keep buying too, probably even the GBA... why??? Because it says Wing Commander on ONE game
 
Yeah , GBA is already in my plans cause of WCP (mostly).
I just want to have this version too.Also Ill be able to play WCP multiplayer!!!!!:D

but....I dont know anyone else who likes WC so....I ll be alone again..:(
 
the only problem i c with the multiplayer on the GBA, is unless u live near to someone that is any good at wc, u won't have as much fun. it's be like manic going up gainst catscratch.
 
Yes, but I'll sure have some fun when I finally go to DragonCon, hook up some GBAs, and kick every one of y'all's @$$es!!
