Try disabling your cache memory in your BIOS. Combined with Moslo (slowdown utility available in the CIC Files Section), that should solve your problem.
in my experience the cpu-slow down util.s did not work very well on any computer with a pentium MMX or faster. but then again, I never waited that much time, i just used a slower computer instead.
