WC1 disk error on the install

Ok so I've wanted to play WC1 again for a while now but every time I try to install the game again and when it ask for the second disk I put it in and hit enter key. Then it looks at the desk drive for "Disk 2" but then comes up with something like "incorrect Disk please insert Disk 2."
Can someone tell me how I could fix this or is my WC1 copy shot?
 
Um, it sounds like you're using a disk version, I'm only familiar with the problem on the CD version. With the CD it's simple - just copy the files directly to the HD, and remove the read-only attribute.
 
It sounds like disk #2 is corupted. First try dumpimg all wc1 disks to a temp directory with no sub-directories and try install it from there. If it's still won't install then you'll need a replacement disk. Go here for warrenty and replacement info.

I would also suggest burning a CD with those disks to better protect those files. You can also go to ebay and buy a CD version of the game. This may be the best way to deal with it.
