WC 4 WinME- Joystick Problems

Hello, I jest installed Wc4 on my Windows-ME computer. While the game ran great on my old DOS box, I've run into a rather huge problem already under windows =/. For some reason the game will not respond to my joystick's movements most of the time. Has anyone else run into this problem? Anyone know of a fix, or something ?

Hmm, I suppose the WC4 Win 95 patch could be worth a try.
