Uniforms and Ranks

Hiya Folx,

Was just out doing a little searching, digging and was overall curious if there are any sites out there that have pictures of uniforms and/or rank insignia used in Wing Commander? Any and All?

Here are the rank insignia from Claw Marks:

Clockwise from upper left, they are: 2nd Lieutenant, 1st Lieutenant, Captain, Major, Lieutenant Colonel, Colonel

Another set of rank insignia are those used by this very Chat Zone!!!

Yeah - I think I saw those one, standard US ranks from the looks of it. Hrm - Are there any other references? Pictures of Uniforms? So forth and so forth?

Look for a thread that says "Border Worlds uniforms pic" or something close to it, it has a group shot from WC4 and you can see their uniforms pretty well
 
Slightly misdone? Apart from the Major/Lieutenant General ranks which where 'mis-done' by Origin whilst making Victory Streak, how so?
 
The general ones are wrong. Brigadier General should be a Lt. Colonel insigina next to the full general cross, Lieutenant General should be a Colonel insignia next to the full cross, Major General and General should both be the full cross.
 
Mmmmh, so why not re-do those insignias for the ranks on the chat zone? You could even take the ones from Claw Marks, and add those that are missing...

It would certainly be more "stiley" than golden boxes and rectangles... :)
