turret symbology without a turret?

I'm getting random turret crosses that don't even seem to be pointing at anything. I'm flying a Centurion and I don't have a turret.

and yet it is the turret target indicator. alt-t to get it to switch to your current target and all that. Call it a glitch. Since I never noticed it until now, it can't be all that bad hehe
 
Yes, but
1) I have no turret.
2) More importantly, it's not pointed at a traget (look at my radar display).
 
I know you don't have a turret, you mentioned that. That is why it could be called a glitch lol. And looking at your radar there certainly appears to be a dot there

I centered the turret cross in my crosshairs and the right dot was still outside the center circle of my radar display.

I'll play with CRTL+t and ALT+t.
 
Sure thing. I know that using alt-t switches it to your current target, but where it starts out before you do that, no idea. Wherever it starts out though, I bet it does the same thing when you have a turret.
 
i also fly the centurion and i have a turret. sometimes, jumppoints are selected as targets and in one case, it could have been an empty nav-point, as far as i remember.
