Hi there,

Is there anyone who has a high-res scan of the Claw Marks logo, found on the WC I manual?

I'm looking for the tiger walking on the letters 'Claw Marks'. Since I'm building a model aircraft, and I would like the tiger on my tail fin :) I think I will call my plane also Tiger's Claw......

It's actually a Serval, which is also a kind of 'wild catlike' creature. So the link to a tiger was found really quick. And when I think of tigers.....I think of Tiger's Claw, and Kilrathi's.

So does anyone has such a picture? scan or anything else?

Also, is there anyone who has some logo's from WC I squadrons? As far as I can remember, the Rapier had "Killer Bees" painted on the side of the spacecraft.
Is there anyone who has a picture from that scene?

A serval pee'd on me once. Scared the hell out of my housecats.

What kind of resolution do you need? TC has a scan of the cover up at http://www.blacklance.org/claw/cover.html - but I can do a higher res one if need be.

The Killer Bees were the Hornet squadron (one of the Hornet squadrons - the other was the Yellowjackets). The Rapier squadron was 'Black Lion' (no graphic in the game, but there's one in the WC:CCG).

Thanks, a higher resolution would be great. So if you could make a scan, I sure apreciate it.

Thanks for the killer bees logo.... (although in my memory it wasn't so 'blocky' but it's great! The good old days......)

It's going to be an 'aircombat' fighter. So I'm going to play dogfights with it. (a long ribbon is going to be attached to the tail, and other fighters with ribbons as well must try to cut someone else's ribbon to score points)
 
Cool beans - I'll scan a Claw Marks tonight (don't have one here at work).

It's just blocky because WC1 was so low-res. It was a little dot on a 320x200 image, originally. :)

Hrm... okay, here are my original scans. They're a bit bigger, but not amazingly so. The black and white one was scanned with a two bit palatte and this is before I cleaned it up. It's only 8 kilobytes or so. The cover is somewhere in the range of 3 megs. I'm really not sure why I scanned that cover. I have ones in better condition...

I also put the killer bees logo on it. Yep, it's on the tail section, because it wasn't very visible on the green front section.

Yep, my tail.
I called it Tiger's Claw.....sort of nostalgia. Damn...those were the days.
But I hope It's going to bring some goodluck..... and I'm confident it will.

I am the one who is going to do all the 'taking down' and not the 'going down' ;) (I hope :D )
