Tiamat Pic's

iCe

Vice Admiral
Does somebody have a clear picture of the tiamat. I would like to see a pic (or pictures) of the tiamat in full size (as seen in the WCP cut scene when it jumps in) ?

Post it here or mail it to bas_schut@hotmail.com

Why don't you just take the screenshots yourself?

'Cos i don't play WCP at this time, so maybe someone did take screenshots.

From the jump-in scene. Let me know if you need any others.

Then why didn't *you* take it:P

(It was actually a pain -- since you can't save before that movie, and since Prophecy screenshots don't look right when you take them in de-interlaced mode... so I had to play the mission and then de-interlace the picture manually... way more of a pain than WCIV or something)

Because I wasn't the one who asked for them. :)

Besides, how is 'uninterlacing' that hard? The movies are low-res anyway. Just reduce the screenshot to 50%, then expand it to 200% (if you really want it at 640x480). How is that a "pain" I don't know.

Wha? That sounds terrifyingly confusing and like it'd cause a frightful loss of quality. I downloaded PSP and then used it's de-interlace filter.

A comment about the Bug wormhole scene

People, correct me if this should not be said at all, or perhaps on another thread but...

I just saw Babylon5: Thirdspace. The ending scene was almost a carbon copy of the one in Prophecy only Sheridan DID escape whilst Blair didn't.

Seeing as it said copyright 1997, and I'd say Thirdspace has been in the pipeline for a while (nearly everything JMS does takes ages), does this mean that god forbid, origin copied it?

I say this as so much of Prophecy's script was edited and cut. Could it be possible to save time they used Thirdspace's? After all, Sheridan was confronted by a huge bug that looked like a Nephilim.

(Admin please let me know your opinions if this is too devisive to talk about, after all I believe it is worth questioning.)

Uhm, no. Prophecy took over a year to develop (the team started in February, 1996) -- Thirdspace aired out *after* WCP (July, 1998) and was filmed and rendered *after* WCP. At the time, the WCP designers dismissed all of this as coincidence, as there was no link between the team that did Thirdspace's digital effects and their own.

(They did, however, mention fowl play regarding those numbered aliens on Voyager that looked like the Nephilim -- apparently members of team that did the aliens for Prophecy went on to do those...)

Uh, how can we lose something that's not there? :) All the movies are in 320x240 res, aren't they? And since the screenshots are 640x480, all you have to do is reduce it to 50%, and you've got the pic at its original resolution. Right?
