There's actually two WC missions where you don't encounter any enemies... name them and WIN BIG!

Do milk run cargo flights in Privateer 2 count? :D

I can see the Kilrathi filling that role in a
larger, expanded confederation.

While I don't see the Kilrathi as a military threat to Confed anytime soon, I don't see them assimilating meekly into the Confederation either. They're too old and proud a people for that.

First might it be something to do with wc4 loaf??? (never played so don't know) or is it if your allied with the kittys in privateer there are two with only kitties.

Anyway. Personaly there are at lest two more WC involving the bugs with the first being finding out about them eith as an invasion then a covert op, or just a covert op. Then the last would be about dealing with the bugs but with an outside force finishing it all off. (with mass destruction of course ;)) Plus if you want the kilrathi back than they could coninise systems inside ex-bug space discover tech, warload takes over, holy war only with a distinct difference.(Talk about flogging a dead horse)

Also what happened to the insults thread I thought there was a one stupid thread limit here??(isn't it a requirement) Or was it geting old?

The two enemy-less missions are in Armada, after you've installed the patch and then use a code to jump ahead in the gauntlet... you start off with a mission to fly an Arrow or a Dralthi from a nav point out to land on your carrier.

Who said anything about "meekly assimilating"?
If you look at the historical example I quoted,
there was nothing "meek" about the Scotch
becoming part of the UK. And there is still
a considerable cultural difference between
Scotch and English. That is why the Empire that
came from that is called the British, not the
English, Empire.

Be that as it may, the two countries have had
much better luck under a single government than
when they were wasting their energy in pointless
border skirmishes. And that is what I think
we'll happen. The Kilrathi won't do anything
meekly, but I think that they will find the
Confederation to be a useful ally against
all tbe other races out there. And what's
to stop individual Kilrathi planets and clans
from joining the Confederation?

If I were to start a new WC (after we finish
the Bug cycle), I would time-warp a hundred
years or so ahead, to a war featuring, say,
the TCS Gettysburg, under Captain Virha 'nar
Hallas.

Brian P.

You call that a "mission"?
Well I suppose... "land on your carrier" <mission objectives accomplished>

Wow! Wish I had more of those at the Academy... ;)

Well they should give more of those missions at the academy, a cadet gets all hyped for his first mission, he's been practicing in the sims, he's ready to take on any fighter the kilrathi can through at him, any capship and the possibility of a traitor. He gets out there shakes it up with some dralthi , completes his mission and then crashes into the Tiger's claw because he didn't realize he needed to slow down.

Do the flights in Privateer count as enemyless missions? :)

Go read the "What's with the Nephilim?" thread...

No more new aliens, please, there's too many aliens we know very little about in the WCU.

Yeah! I was wondering. :)
But enough about that...

Now that would be interesting...I kinda thought the Bug story was cliche and all (I still do), but now that we have it, it must be finished. I think another Bug game would have to be different...incorperate some new elements, or at least give us new ships!

Yeah! If the aliens are old and Meesterious enough, they'll seem new. Show us the Fierrekans! Or the Mantu, or the Double-Helix (are we infringing on Star Trek here?), or the...well, you get the picture. :)

There's also lots of aliens here at the CIC we don't know much about... :)

I'm an alien! :)

Or maybe I'm not...I can never tell, especially when I act like a three-legged monket named Fluffy on crack...:D
