hi im stuck and cant do the 3rd matterson misson

neone got some advise?

Welcome to the club. Just about everyone has replayed that mission 40 times or more.
The only solution is to cheat by editing units.csv, reducing the Demon's speed and putting laser turrets on the Draymans.
 
that's by no means the 'only' solution. i passed it on my third try with a centurion, 4 autotracking tachs, autotracking protorps, remembering that i could land on the thing to effect repairs, and just doing all the things you have to do in a wing commander defend/escort mission.
 
thx what files do i need to mod and what parts.
Also is there away other than turning the detail level down to stop the lag.
besides i had the original on 6-7 floppies and never got this far and then i lost the disks but i have resently gotta that wont run on my pc.
and i have found a bugg in the remake which allows u when docked on a draymon to sell ure weapons and buy them back for a tidy profit.
