Stuck in P2 :(

Hi all.

I've found the P2 game in one box of oldies, and then, I remembered the good the game was, so I installed, and it works prefectly on mw XP SP2 with an 8800GTX, perfect movies, and perfect sound  I was lucky I suppose, but there I go!

Dont remember much about the game, but after talking with the bartender, I went to Crius to the hospital. The next entrie is something like "Visiting Dr Loomis wasn't as helpful as I had anticipated. I had better extend my search elsewhere."

I went to space a little, and an email arrived to talk to a guy in the bar at crius, so that I did, but then... Dunno where to go/do.

Any hint please? :D

Thanks in advance.

You have to spend some time flying ordinary cargo runs and random missions -- after you've done enough you'll get an e-mail continuing the plot.

Dundrabal, thanks for the link, but it doesnt help.

I talked to Xavier Shondi before, but there is no quest, and I can't get any quest in the bulletin board still, somehings missing.

Any help please?

Fly around a bit and it (take off and land a few times) will kickstart the mission economy; I don't know why they thought starting out this way was a good idea, but it's really how the game is supposed to work.

The first thing you'll get is an option to fly Xavier Shondi's non-plot mission -- after that missions should start showing up.

Meeting Prochnow on Crius, during the dialogue you can choose whether to do his mission or not. Something like "sounds more than slightly illegal I don't like the sound of it" vs. "good enough chance to make a few quick ones why not". If you accept the mission (why shouldn't you?) your rendezvous for the mission will show up in your PAD diary. The instructions are to meet a cargo ship in Crius local space and escort it to Karatikus. I've never seen a bug where this PAD diary entry doesn't show up so your problem is most likely that you accidentally refused Prochnows mission.

This mission actually doesn't have anything to do with the main plot. The next time your main story plot will advance will be after some more gaming time, maybe an hour, when the good Doctor sends you an email proclaiming that he's now able to help you just a little after all.

1. You have to land at least once on Crius to get the missions to start...
2. Xavier Shondie calls in once you done serveral take offs and landings...
3. Until you done 100 kills on your duty you dont get any of the missions from the message board!

...and no.4: there are just a few missions out there that can be worked out with your startership, the Straith. Its better to go on for some cargo runs and collect some money to buy a better ship!
