lately i have been playing all my WC games and i have noticed what i really like about WC1 and WC2 and as well as WCP... i really like the mission report after the mission is done... liek how you meet with the captain in WC1 and how you get the read out in WCP... i dunno... i like know how i did and how many cats i smoked...

well, for the kills thing, there is this little thing called the kill board that you can look at and find out how many you killed if you know what your killscore was before the mission. But yes, i would have liked WC3 and 4 better if they had the A.A.R. (that's After Action Review for ya'll who don't know)

I agree, i miss it to. But since you are the Wing Commander in 3 & 4, who will debrief you then i wonder?

mabye the captain since the captain gives you the mission orders. the only thing that would be messed up is in 4 when you become the captain.

it was the captain who talked to you in WC1 so i guess the same could have been done in WC3 but i guess having live actors opposed to cartoon, it does make things difficult...

you didn't talk to the captain in WC1. you talked to Col. Halcyon, the Wing Commander of the Tiger's Claw.

maybe because you're the wing commander, there's no need for someone to debrief you. you know for yourself what you did good and/or wrong

What I thought that could have been done more thoroughly was the mission breifings in 3 and 4. I mean, the captain expects you to give out mission assignments, but in the briefings he only talks about what your own assignment is... a situation report would have been a bit tedious possibly, but more in-tune with being the Wing Commander.

i think eisen tells you something, and that he expects that you give more detail to the mission. he wants you to get it done, but you have pilots to get it done.

for example, you need to attack. you can launch a full out attack with all your pilots, or use some for a diversion.

ok, you don't see this what i just told in the games. but it's optional.

I think that Eisen should be the one to give you the debriefings. I would love to see him praise you for a job well done and chew you out for failing an objective.

Or you could just talk to yourself...
*visions of Mark Hammill muttering to himself as he slouches through the hallway, all the passing crewpeople giving him funny stares. Camerawork not unlike Priv2*
