Someone finish this for me

They do not need to for the purposes of the Behemoth since it is unique. and Behemoth is the class of the Behemoth that cannot be disputed

Since the Kraken is designated as a ship "killer" I don't see why the Behemoth couldn't be called that... Planet killer probably wouldn't work, since we don't know if the Behemoth could destroy a planet that's not techtonicly unstable.

EW: That first planet that the Behemoth took out, when are we ever told it is techtonically unstable, and that shouldn't have anyeffect anyway. Since techtonics deal with only the crust of a planet, then maybe the crust could be peeled off, thus making the planet useless and killing anything/one on it but it would not destroy the planet

Yes, like I said, the Behemoth is a Behemoth-class vessel. It has to have a type, though. It has to be a Behemoth-class "something" even if it is the only one of its kind. The CIC has it listed as a Behemoth-class dreadnought. They tend to be correct more times than not. Does anyone have a saved game in Wing Commander III around when we see the Behemoth? Perhaps the game itself can answer this question.

Actually I have noticed several errors, like the use of Gigajoules for gun power rather than the nanojoules that both my Prophesy Gold manual and my Victory streak specify. If it was a printing error, it would not be in 2 different mauals separtated by 4 years

I do believe that during the Behemoth briefing, we're told that it's unknown wether it would work on stable planets. If that's the case, then there's no reason to belive Confed would test in on a stable planet.

Every universe has its mistakes...

Of course, I'd rather try to explain them away than live with them. :)

Everywhere I've looked, I've seen nanoJoules used. Where have you seen otherwise?

The CIC's Ships database lists the gun's energy useage as GJ which stands for gigajoules. There is a huge difference sine Giga joules are 1 billion times a joule and nano joules are one billiant of a joule meaning that it would take 1x10^18 nanojoules to equal a single gigajoule. Since both victory streak and Waypoint! say nanojoules I contend that the CIC's Database is wrong and should be changed

I was wondering if you'd seen anything other than nanoJoules used in any official Wing Commander documentation. No offense to the CIC, of course...

And they both use nanoJoules. If you'd read, you know that I was asking for the names of official documentation that doesn't use nanoJoules.

Yes the Behemoth was in gigajoules I believe, but apparently itdid not have enough power to have been able to destory any planet

Correct me if I'm wrong...

Well, if those guns put out x amount of nanojoules (1000000000nJ=1J) and their capacitors run out fairly quickly, surely a human being, which needs to consume around 10000 KILO joules (1KJ=1000J), would be more powerful than a 27th century gun capacitor.

Once again, someone at Origin didn't do their homework. And what a slip up!

Lets leave CIC as GIGAjoules. It makes more physical sense. Otherwise, we should be using people as gun capacitors...

I don;t care which makes more sence (and yes i do know which makes more sence) but the game handbooks say Nanojoules so we should go with the canon opinion, end of story

you know maybe it is.....MISTAKE, mistakes happen, bad printing, bad typing they aren´t god, they makes MISTAKES
