Some more stupid things in WCIV

Antman

Spaceman
Just finished WCIV for like the 20th time. Some things I renoted:

1. The vesuvius is about 30 times bigger than a Dragon, and can turn 90 times faster than one.

2. Again, the scales are WWWWAAAAYYYY OFF.

True, but thats just the developer's fault. Personally, WC IV is my favourite...and I don't even have it anymore!

For you to play is 20 times over, it must have been good, right?

I'll say it is, just beat it my second time mere minutes ago. Gotta like the drama of that last scene when every one is shouting charges at Tolwyn. But last time i got the movie with Blair being a General but this time hes a flight instructor and i liked it alot better.

I actually quite liked him as a general. It was nice a dark, I don't think Blair really wanted to be a flight instructor, as you see in Prophecy, he appears very, distant. NOt very personal at all.

ITs that reason i dont think he wanted to be a general. It made him a dark impersonal person when he was usually a pretty friendly fellow. Besides all he wanted to really do was get back in the cockpit, and in the end movie for WCIV he said he wanted to be an instructor so he COULD still fly. He even blows off some cadets so he can take a spin.

When did Blair become a General ? At the end of WCIV ?

Sounds pretty silly to, to get transfered to the nave and lose 3 ranks...

He became a Brigadier General (in the WC4 novel). Thus, he did not lose his rank in the transfer, because the Navy equivalent is Commodore.

This is clear to me. Found it a bit odd how he could skip 3 ranks.

But why wanted he to be transfered to the navy ? To command a fleet ?

Lose three ranks? He's *Commodore* Blair, not Commander Blair -- Commodore is one rank *above* Colonel.

I did not say that.

I mean that when he was a (full) general, he would lose 3 ranks...

In the "blair as admiral ending" he is just that one of the three Admiral Ranks, which leads me to assume that the Canon ending was the one with him being a Flight instuctor
