Rudder in WCP

Is there anything that I can dowload that will give me the "reverse rudder" option like in WCSO? I just bought a brand new 50 dollar joy-stick and I would love to use every aspect of it in prophecy...

You know what I'd like to see? A space combat game like Falcon 4.0. You know, one of those ultra-realistic games with lot 'o buttons to fiddle with, complicated controls, and blah blah blah. One that you could use with that really expensive 150 dollar joystick with eight hat swiches. :D

Try the open beta test of Ace of Angels at http://www.flyingrockllc.com/. Lots of keys functions, (fs and fs2 dont even come close to this one, and fs/fs2 had tons of key functions to go thru just to communicate to your wing!). This new space sim has realistic physics as well! (the ships dont act like they fly on rails!)

There is no way to reverse the rudder without fooling around with the game files.

Just live with it, okay? It won't take you long to adjust to it. 5 missions into the game, and you won't even mind.
 
oh, I'm already used to not using the rudder, I just wanted to know if there was a way I could fix it, that's all.
 
I found the rudder direction in WCP to be quite usefull, comparing to SO and reversing that, was a disaster! Gotten used to WCP! Now I have all my sims set that way!

I tried to get used to it reversed. Ended up turning and rolling in different directions! (I swear I only had 1 beer officer!) :)

What's this about rudder reversing? Is it something similar to how we press up to move down and down to move up?
 
no, if you have the right kind of joy-stick, you can twist the handle left and right and your fighter will roll left/right, in WCP however, they got them backwards for some reason...
 
Maybe it has something to do with which joystick and/or version you have. My Prophecy seems to work fine ... or maybe I'm just naturally dyslexic :)

Some joysticks come with their own background software. Maybe you could reverse the direction there.
