Rigakh cruiser

I used to *hate* the black silhouettes -- I mean, what a letdown after Wing Commander I's awesome technical(ish) drawings...

Lately I've learned to like them a lot more; it's not *incredibly* obvious, but they're done to look like those World War II-contemporary "spotters guides"... which is probably a bit more appropriate than the line-drawings.

I'll be turning my attention to the guide and WCPedia. I also may need to enlist the help of at least one person to help compile info. I know Quarto will be very busy in the coming weeks...with getting married this weekend and all :p

Happy to help on this down the line if you need anything.

I see LOAF's point about the line drawings, but they sure look great in my opinion...

I assumed so much too, but the 26th century has targeting displays.
It was a nice nod to Wing Commander's origins (is that a pun on words?), but i prefer drawings/renderings. Or an awesome poster like in WC3.

I could probably be talked into doing some lineart for a claw marks style strategy guide :P if someone were to ask real nicely..

Yes I did. I've already got Ninja under contract :p He did the nice new WCPedia logo for the birthday.

I always like knowing the ship stats as well, admittedly part of why most of my hopes for a new WC game involve a early Kilrathi war setting is hoping to learn more details about the pre-war/early-war fighters.

Dang, missed that info before. He won't be able to read this post until at least monday but still...

I should have picked up on that... i can't believe i never did considering i have about 300 of them from 1942.

Just an idea, but how about some Kilrathi perspective in the Joan's Victory Clawstreak manual or whatever it's going to be called? I always liked the Cat's recollection of events in the Armada manual.
