Prophecy GBA Has Shipped!

*grumble*.

I went into EB today to ask about it, and they don't have it in their computers!

And what they did have was marked as discontinued...

Grr... I'll check back next week and hope their computer records are completely wrong (this was EB Canada).
 
Indeed, they didn't know about it at the local one here, either. I have yet to find a confirmed Canadian retailer. I'm going to keep harrassing Toys R Us, though, as even though the guys there the other day didn't know about it, it's pretty likely that they'll end up having it.

The odd one is that Future Shop doesn't have it in it's system. I have no idea what they're normally like for console games, but they generally have other things in their catalogue before they're released with a projected release date.
 
I hate to spoil the fun atmosphere, but does anyone have any idea if it will ship to Australia? Our relatively small population (hence small games market) and remote geographical location means that we often miss out on relatively small game releases - we never got Super Mario RPG. :(
 
I actually have no idea... I'd suggest e-mailing destination to ask what the plans are for Australia, but e-mails to them appear to have a tendancy to dissapear. Destination had the worldwide distribution rights for the EA licenses it has access to. They gave Europe to Take 2 for Prophecy, but not Australia, as far as I know, so it'd be distributed by Destination. My suggestion would be to see if you get other Destination distributed games (assuming just asking stores if they're getting Prophecy only gets you confused stares).

Lucky guy :) Robotech:Battlecry never came in Greece cause a few people know about the Macross/Robotech series so,it wouldnt sell....Now I cant find it ....:( not even the regular edition

What system are you looking for it on? You guys can always order online.. I've seen listings at ebay/half.com for a while. Shipping won't be too much. We're also giving away copies at the Birthday Party.
 
For PS2 Chris....I dont know,I never order online cause I dont trust anyone :p .Ive never ordered online before,but I want several things so maybe thats what Im gonna do...

Ouch! Deprived! That was an excellent RPG, especially considering its content. I was really skeptical about it... but I bought it off a friend for $20 and enjoyed it very much. One of Square's last hurrahs on the most-excellent Super NES!

That stinks too. The way I see it, the US doesn't have a huge Robotech/Macross market, either. I sort of put Robotech parallel to Wing Commander in the sense where only a small community exists, which is hardcore into it. It's definitely not a pop-culture phenomenon.... Too bad, though, because Robotech and its root animes (minus that Southern Cross crap) are fantastic!
