Consummate Wingnut artist NinjaLA recently acquired some new art programs that he's been trying out. What better way to see what a program can do than by drawing some Wing Commander ships! For one of his first pieces, he's created the image below, a Bengal strike carrier battling against a Hakaga super carrier. He also sent along a "work-in-progress" image where you can see the battle scene start to take shape.

it's not the EX version yet (of 5... that doesn't come out until the summer) but it's no debut version either.. It's a fully-featured painter program... if you are making books, you'll miss the story file stuff (not in 5) but it's got some brilliant coloring tools, allows vector art and has all the rulers you are used to... there is a bit of a learning curve though.. the interface has been heavily altered. still.. very much digging the results I have gotten so far.
