Peace with the bugs?

Hey all,

What would you write for the 2nd and 3rd installments of a prophecy trilogy? What would you bring about the bugs ultimate downfall, or the conquest of humanity? Just curious...

I would love to see more of the prophecy story 1. to find out more about the and 2. to find out what happened to blair.

I would have casey die during the opening cutscene of #2 (I never liked him anyway, who wants to play a guy who would rather daydream about blair then talk to Finley) and blair, who would have been hiding from confed trying to settle down and live out the remainder of his days and who you would also play, come back cause the bugs had launched a major invasion of the confederation which would get stopped at earth (so you could finally play a battle for earth on the winning road :D) and in #3 the confederation (and the cats) launch an invasion of the bug universe through the wormhole in SO and ultimately destroy the bug civilization :D
and in response to the title of this thread, there can never be peace with insects. didn't you see independence day! :D

racheal would be too old for him (remember she was married to blair) I think he does eventually get with stilleto, but i think that flint is the best looking woman in WC

I personally think that stilleto is better lookin and about Racheal Corialis let me tell u that in the end age doesnt matter.

but would you want blair's leftovers. you already taken his job as confed hero and now you after his woman too? FYI (and i found this out from doomsdayplague) in real life racheal was a porn star.

Whats wrong with goin out wae a porn star and another thing i have learned through experiance like wine women only get better with age. And as i recall she left blair on that farm without marrying him.

nothing's wrong with going with a porn star. that was just for general info. and there has to be a cut off limit for age. Racheal is past 40 now and that's beyond my limit (i'm 24 days from 19) and no, blair and racheal did get married after the war and she left him cause she didn't like the farm life (i think.....i can't really remember the reason for the break-up only that they were married)

Prophecy strategy guide and i believe it is also in the WC3 and WC4 books (ain't read them though)

strategy guide-CPO Racheal Coriolis pg 20
"During the final days of the war, abord the Victory, she met and fell in love with Christopher Blair. Immediately after the war they were married.
After the war, however, she found herself completely unsuited to rural civilian life. A messy breakup ensued and she re-enlisted"

That is the extent of my knowledge of the Blair-Racheal affair. I always picked Flint in WC3.

Rachael'd probably want to strap one on and do Blair, what with that '80s porn star background. I usually went with Flint too.

On the subject of peace with the bugs, I'd imagine that the concept would be beyond their comprehension or at the very least unacceptable to them. After all, when your motto is "Conquer or die", diplomacy probably isn't a growth industry for you.

...find out what happened to blair.
Blair was dumped into a "writer's trapdoor". Let him rest in peace.

That would be pretty stupid given that Prophecy and SO established him as the next generation hero of Confed. And people can change a lot between episodes, look what happened to Blair between WC1 and WC2. He developed an ego, amazing!

Casey was traumatised from losing his wingman to a mysterious race of aliens, as well as having lacked sleep for two days straight. I don't think Finley was that nice to talk to anyway.

And please don't connect Ginger Lynn with Rachel Coriolis. And get the names right! :(

Yeah, well, Blair's battle with the bottle prolly didn't help either (told in WC4 playguide excerpt, and the WC4 novel as well, I believe).

What else did you just find out from Doomsdayplague? "Guess what guys, the sky is blue!"

Ginger Lynn IS Ginger Lynn Allen AKA Rachel Coriolis, in case there was any confusion.:)

Anyway, back to the topic at hand, what I have heard from Origin, and some other internet articles, was that there were originally going to be three big enemy races controlled by an enigmatic leader. The idea being that war and conquest was the popular and approved of life in the enemy society. According to what Origin has told me, through correspondence, is that Blair was feeling rather disaffected by his life because he no longer wanted to be this great war hero, looking on his role in life as little more than a murderer, and found that in the enemy society he didn't have to feel the way he did because of thier values. At the end of Prophecy he disappeared and if the originally planned trilogy had happened then the story would roll out that he left Confed behind for this other society.
Additionally each installment of the trilogy would have each of the three enemy races appearing in their own game with the third game having the final showdown on the otherside of the wormhole with the enigmatic leader race.
The whole thing sounded kind of cool, in the letter that I got from Origin, but it may be little less clear hear.

But I think, if you stick solely with the Bugs as the enemy, I'd do two more games, encompassing SO and UE's storylines in the overall fiction, which start out with an expeditionary force building a foothold in Bug territory prior to the last big push in the third story.

well I'm glad you figured that out riotact. and forgive me for not keeping track of what every actor associated with WC did before.
