I's a German movie by SciFi fans, and from that point of view it's just amazing!
The story isn't that great, but it would fit perfectly for any Privateer game. The acting is also a bit stiff sometimes, but oh boy, the space action is great. They actually used real models and CGI! They made sure, every detail looks nice, and it just looks like wing commander...
They got small fighters, that make use of guns and rockets...
... which have familiar looking cockpit elements...
... and guess, how the carriers, they land in are designed...
..Even those jump gates look familiar:
I certainly enjoyed the movie, and wondered, you didn't hear of it already, as this place normally bursts with Wing commander related news.
