New Ranking?

I been noticing what looks to be new ranking. Swabbie and Keen Commander? I didn't see them under the rules page. I just wondering what's going on?
 
mpanty got to the rank of Major General, so he can have his own personal rank (Keen Commander). Ladiesman^ was banned for a short while, I do believe. Therefore, he is a swabbie. :)
 
Swabbies are banned. People with 2,000 posts or more may choose a graphic and rank. People who have contributed a lot to the community over time are sometimes awarded a rank and graphic. Neither is to be confused with the rank of Moderator or Administrator.

I suppose I should add this to the Ranking System.
 
And perhaps make a list of all the Administrators and Moderators...

Though it isn't absolutely necessary, some kind of "presentation" of these people would be nice... :)
 
Oh, o'kay. How long does someone need to be a Swabbie before they are back in favor? And do they get their original ranking back?
 
That depends on the severity of the actions that lead to the banning. Usually it is permanent.

A list of Moderators and Administrators would be fairly useless. You can tell by our title, and it's pretty obvious it's just CIC staff, Death and TC. There's also no point in knowing who's who, you have to behave at all times.
 
Eh, I've been here over a year and a half and I'm only on 1590 posts. Some people have been here a few months and are already at Major General. I wonder where they find the time to come here so often? ;)
 
It's going to take me forever since I do most of my postings on the Tech Support side try to help other gamers. I am up to around 376 postings in 4 months and about 97% of them are on the Tech Support side. That's okay since I like helping people.:D I really don't care about the ranking. That and $3.00 get's me a Venti Mocha Frappuccino.;)

It doesn't take a lot of time to raise your post count. All you have to do is keep asking questions concerning the ranking system, and you'll wind up with plenty of posts in no time.
