Anthony Morone, veteran Wing Commander 3 and 4 developer, is selling several exciting pieces of Wing-related merchandise - everything from the obligatory Kilrathi Saga to banners and posters! Here's the details:
Wing Commander - The Kilrathi Saga: This is the original 'white CD' release of Kilrathi Saga. The second time Kilrathi Saga CDs were printed they used shiney silver CDs instead of the white Kilrathi ace artwork most people are familiar with. (Current Bid: $45.00)

Wing Commander Confederation Logo Banner: You won't see this again - a large blue banner with the Confederation logo on it! Show your Wing Commander patriotism! (Current Bid: $30.00)

Wing Commander III Development Team Patch: These patches were given to members of the Wing Commander III development team. They rarely show up on eBay, and are usually included in larger lots of 'Wing Commander 3 Premiere Edition' items. (Current Bid: $10.00)

Wing Commander IV 35mm Film Trailer: Origin distributed a number of these film trailers to fans at their message board back in 1997. If you've ever seen auctions offering "film cels" from Wing Commander IV, they're just someone cutting up one of these trailers and selling it in little pieces. Wing Commander IV Binder Bag: A promotional binder bag for Wing Commander IV... we promise you'll have something cool you can print out and put in this bag come August 10th. (Current Bid: $15.00)

Wing Commander IV Black Lance Dragon Poster: One of the coolest pieces of Wing Commander promotional material ever created, these were designed as two page ads printed in Playstation specific magazines back in 1996-7. I've got a question about the Kilrathi Saga: I'm wondering which of those two is harder to find / worth more: the silver one or the white one?
 
My experience has always been that the white ones are more common, but generally sell for more. (People assume the silver ones are CD-Rs, maybe?)
 
I wouldn't say that one is worth more than the other, but I think the one with silver CDs is supposed to be harder to find.
 
$25 for the 35mm film clip.. heh.. good luck..

I couldn't get any bids for $5 back when I was selling a bunch of stuff..

And they're not all that rare.. as far as WC collectibles go.. we had an HUGE box full of them at OSI at one point..

Yeah, my 35 mm roll was only about $10.. but there's less of them on ebay these days it seems.
 
The Confed banner and dragon poster are pretty impressive...if I had extra spending cash I would definately try and make a grab for them....both would look great in big frames on my wall....and boy am I ever glad I got KS right when it came out, the price that set goes for....although I seem to have misplaced the manual for it, the only WC one I have lost :(
 
There goes my chances of getting stuff cheap at ebay...

At least I got a good deal on my kilrathi saga...
 
What are the silver CDs like? I've never even heard of them before. I knew there were two printing runs, but I didn't know of any differences between the two. Are they just the same font in the same place minus the artwork?

Man, he made $52 on it. That's incredible.

On the other hand, most of the other stuff went really low.

... but I got me a binder-bag!
