Does anyone know how to extract the sound files from any of the WC games? I.e. is there a way to "unzip" those .TRE files? I would also like some of the speech files from Wing Commander 2. Thanks muchly.

I believe WC:CIC itself has some and I think WCI-II has sound files in their dic just off the harddrive.

To clarify, WCII speech is in most of the files in the GAMEDAT directory with an extension beginning with S. ie *.S??

Most of the speech can be opened in anything which can read RAW sound data, although the majority of SO1 stuff seems to be encoded. Some know how to extract it, I don't know any of the details.
