Apparently GeeBot thinks Dork'Lath is pronounced dork lathe.

Yes, yes I do (not, hopefully, there's anything wrong with that). How do you think it should be pronounced?

This must be one of those new-fangled Enigma Sector jumps. Hi-oh!

Wow, you're like Ghost... but not from an entertaining South American country. In other words, you've got all the downsides, but none of the upsides :(

I'd pronounce it as dorclath... but it doesn't really matter, people should be able to pronounce these names anyway they want.

my speach, it si freie!!

Hmm... then Frosty shall pronounce it: "diediediediediefuckerdie" In honor of you.

I'm happy to lose to the economy, especially if it means we can build a moon base or blow up another third world country.

(Watch out, Ecuador!)

Well, you people did a very good job helping and supporting several murderous dictatorships in Argentina, Chile, Brazil, any several other countries... I'm sure Equador will be an easy target. They're not much of a country... Just watch out for Galapagos island, it's filled with strange creatures.

Really? Because I wasn't entirely happy with the murderous dictatorship in Chile that I, personally, set up. It started out well enough, with the rounding up of the dissidents and the burning of the anti-government literature and whatnot... but it just seemed to lack *heart*.

My Murderous Dictatorship professor gave it a C+ - and that was pretty generous.

Henry Kissinger wouldn't approve that!!! Althoug Gore Vidal would be proud.

But don't be too hard on yourself, the Chilean dictators were really commited to their cause, they even managed to murder one of the old government officials 10 blocks away from the White House in Washington D.C.!
The several thousand missing and dead are surelly a nice trophy on the mantlepiece in Langley.

But seriously, LOAF, before you get pissed with me or something, the point I'm trying to make is that american intervention in other countries is a very serious and sensitive matter, that should be threaded very lightly... Even if you don't take US actions in consideration, it's still an open wound in most of theses countries, which are struggling to move to a better time while dealing with this painfull past.

It's not my intention to imply that the american people is individually responsible for these acts, and certainly YOU and other american forum regulars are not to be accounted for this stuff. I'd just ask you to be more careful with the jokes you make on this particular subject, because they might pass as offensive to some.

Confucious say: If you're offended by something on the internet, you're an idiot.

I can't help but agree with LeHah - my original post was clearly a sarcastic jibe at US foreign policy... and you clearly twisted it in a predetermined attempt to take offense at something.

You know, I was going to write a long answer to this, but it dawned on me that no on here ever yields and admits that made a mistake. So, yeah, I'm post twister with several obscure objectives. I like to spend my time in predetermined attempts to take offense at something. LOAF is right, as usual.

Whatever.

"YOU ALL AGREE WITH LOAF! I AM BEING OPPRESSED! WAH!" is generally the last, desparate claim of people who don't have real arguments to stand on.
