Little question....

Peace Through Superior Firepower
Was just wondering, once upon a time, when someone got banned, they were still listed on the member list, along with their little mop bucket avatar. Now, the banned member, (Preacher as an example) is not listed anymore.

For instance, McGruff has been banned several times, but is still a member.

The question is: Is the banned person still a member, even though they are no longer on the member list?

Thanks to any assistance.

I don't think anyone will know -- the member list is generated by whatever magic forumla the licensed board uses... if it's different than how it used to be, then it's because the general software changed, not because anybody was trying to hide whether or not your friend exists.

... a better question would be why it matters.

Couple reasons. It's easier to look someone up on the member list than through the thousands of posts and threads.

You can track your buddies (like McGruff) when they get banned.

It's really no biggie. Was just curious why the change.

You did well.

Yeah, I don't know what I'd do if I had to go without McGruff adding nothing to the conversation for a few days.
