Didn't expect anything else. I would first go out from the woman's poster. And Ginger Lynn Allen is quite cool....in her WC role. The rest I cannot judge. Hey and Bikini is really fun. Remembers me of my coming holidays.:D Not in the tropics...but *g* Think yourself the rest.
 
Ginger Lynn is good in the two jobs she's had: Wing Commander Grease Monkey and Porn Star. She isn't any good at hiding tax evasion though, the IRS grabbed her a few years ago.

She's a cute little thing (she's only 5'3-4") and I really liked the way she looked in WC3. She also, apparently, can act. She was in a bunch of crappy soft-porn, direct-to-video movies like "Bound and Gagged: A Love Story" and "Sorority House Murders" and, of course, the highlight of any starlet's career...well, look her up on the IMDB. She's been in a 160 movies and I think only 10 or 15 of them were legit. :)

My mom still remembers her as the girl who made an appearance on "NYPD Blue". She has no idea what her original job was. :)
 
Okay, but it wouldn't be normal if I'd judge that porn films, because gender-related I don't watch them.
And I looked her up at IMDB like I did with most of the actors. She had a good filled profile. Just the contrast to some other actrices.
And she really can act. There you're right.
 
Gender-Related? Hun, maybe it's cuz we're Americans, but I've got a whole slew of friends that are girls that like watching porn...then again, 90% of them are attractive "Chasing Amy"-style lesbians, so there you go. :)

Actually, she only was part of 69 -- no pun intended -- adult films during her first "run" in porn ('83-'86). She was viewed as the quintessential girl-next-door who would do about anything. According to articles that floated about when she returned to the adult world in 2000's TORN, she ranks even today as one of the top 3 starlets of all time. And she did it without any physical "enhancements" that are so common in the industry.

She has followed up TORN with appearances in perhaps a half-dozen more adult movies (and some compilations). I saw in an interview that she claims to have never approached in her personal life the sexual satisfaction she got from working in adult entertainment.

She also had a prominent role in the movie YOUNG GUNS II, ironically as a call-girl in the brothel scene who gets rather testy with the local lawmen. Even had a speaking part. :)

I think she's better in WCIII. More variety of scenes and emotions, and some extended dialog. Looks better as well.

She comes across in WCP as rather cold, and doesn't really get the chance to build the character.
 
Most remember her from former games. :( Just I saw her the first time and she didn't seem to be the kind of human I'd like to get better to know. But that was because of the repeated cutszenes....especially because they never shew her longer time. Just the short ones.
 
Hmm, I *would* like to see one of her movies someday...

... but I did think she looked best in WCIII... seemed so... perky... without being... perky... if that makes sense.

What was that about? And the only manual I got with SC was the one with Chris Roberts' letter at the front.

And judging from everyone's commentary, I suppose I'm missing out on not seeing Ginger's 'other' roles.
 
Wedge009: On your Strike Commander CD there should be some pdf files containing the Strike Commander manual. You'll need Adobe Acrobat to view them, but the Strike Commander CD should have that program included on it anyway. The manual's pretty cool. IIRC it's got lots of info on the world situation in 2011 and other relevant stuff.

As for Ginger Lynn's movie roles - well, whatever pays the bills I suppose...
 
Yeah, it starts with Chris Roberts' letter... but after that there's a Claw Marks style mercenary magazine.

The thing I liked from Strike Commander (well, the addon) were those white and green spotted stealth fighters. Why aren't *real* stealth fighters white with green spots?
