Long Live the Confederation!

Read all about it in my livejournal entry.

Wow, that's awesome!

The drawing of the Snakeir is very very neat. Though some of the stats aren't what I expected, at least we now have some canonical data.
Hehe, neither 103m nor 1,003m is correct for the Sivar dreadnought. :)

To be fair, something printed in a manual is probably more canon than something printed in CGW. :)

No questioning that. :)
Still, those specs, they are now official, aren't they. They were meant to be included in the manual after all.

That's like saying missions that were cut from the game are official. They're great for helping to explain things, but they definately aren't official or anything...

I've changed my mind on my previous post. It's something that was released by Origin and therefore should be considered official in the context of a Joan's Fighting Spacecraft update.

Secondly, I've released a Claw Marks update including these statistics: http://www.blacklance.org/claw/

It's from CGW, not PC Gamer... and there *is* a picture for the Star Post.

Eh, I was reading PC Gamer at the time... whatever, I'll fix it later

Done. Stupid not completely filling in the template... The Star Post picture is now there, along with the source being correctly identified.

Hooray, a nice compromise at 550m. :)

What manual had 103m listed for the Sivar?

I second that.

Great work!

I don't care that they were from claw marks... the fact that they were cut would make them illegitimate and useless. The fact that they were released, however, and are official material, makes them part of the universe. I'd say that Joan's Fighting Spacecraft circa the mid-2650s, however, isn't that reliable of a source. Especially if one Considers the errors of capital ship weapons and things like turning speed.
