I saw Privateer 3 with my own 2 eyes

Hey! I was rummaging though Hotline today and I found a server that had a file entitled "privateer 3". There is no such game, is there? What's going on?

Could be just some avi or info. Then again, might also be a trap. A "renamed" file containing some hack or virus. Cant be too carefull out on the net these days!

Well it was a zip file of 260mb I couldn't download it to see what it was tho.

Well given the description of what Privateer 3 would have been, I seriously doubt that the file you found has anything to do with Privateer 3, beings that game got shelved a few years ago. 260 megs is large! It would be interesting to see what it actually is tho.

Wing Commander Universe is NOT Privateer 3 if it's ever been referred to as "Privateer 3" then I am sorry, what I meant by the was that it will have many of the features that were planned for Privateer 3.
Once again, I am sorry for any misconceptions.

If it's anything Privateer related, it's probably a Privateer 1 or 2 rip. And you know you can't discuss that here. Read the rules.
