No, it's much more like the SWC Salthi than it is the Armada Shok'lar -- it's still got the Salthi paint-scheme and cockpit layout.

Plus, in RF it's a *surplus* Kilrathi fighter -- the Shok'lar is a new stealth fighter in '69...

So if you say something, it should be true...I never met a guy here from whom I thought he'd know more (sorry, but it is so). So whom meant to be more clever?
That is really something I'd never do..calling anybody here idiot (even indirect) and it's nearly insulting to see such radical doubts of Loaf's competence!!!. I mean I am also not always the friendlyest one in here, but that? I am shocked that somebody really did that....I thought we understand each other and mostly get along well (okay I don't get E-Mails very often, even if I'd be happy)...but such rude forms behind that what we know...? That would I never have thought...I can absolutely understand the reaction of you Loaf, to please to stop sending you E-Mails. I think you're also happy to get Mails...but even I won't be happy to get SUCH ones. I'd react with an answer, which the person wouldn't like!!!! (for me, I can only say, I am quiet if I don't understand something. Or I ask in a NICE way!!!). Seems that such rules of communicating and behavior aren't known by all people.

Cool! I had no idea that the Talon was originaly a Kilrathi design. I never had a MAC machine nor did I ever get into the game consoles very much. Im glad you are posting the pictures of these ships from SWC. Im glad my email was one of the good ones. It was more of a inquery since you are the one to get correct information from. Id trust your answers better than the books and manuals themselves!

Its not "asskissing" as you put it, it is simply appriciation for someone taking the time to go thru the trouble of posting the pics, setting records straight, answering countless amounts of questions, probably more than once, and last but not least, respect. Imagine what kind of chaos it would be regarding information about the world of WC without someone digging deep to get the facts straight. I dont want to even think of it for a second!

No, I hope somebody would also react, if I wrote something like as he did. As if I'd need to 'kiss anybody's ass!Even if it is Loaf's one!! Me and being a slimy...imagine that...never thought that somebody would ever call me ...no. I had 'confrontations'- better said 'different opinions' with many 'high-ranked' persons here. Ask Loaf, Quarto or Kris...I think sometimes they were really angry about me in some ways. Would a slimy ever do such a thing?? I only wanted to express that it isn't right that somebody tells he'd know more than the guy whom all ask if they don't know a thing...that would I like to see. Maybe that guy could give us a proof of his knowledge...:)

Not really, I think it could also be seen as an Epee, but the Talon is closer. Maybe because it is the model reused in Privateer. That was an interesting piece of trivia, LOAF.

But the Epee have more than 2 wings and it is more cilindrcal, and that Gratha (as LOAF said), was the model of the talon

Hey, I wasn't saying it looked exactly like the Epee, I was just judging from the overall wing shape, with the missiles mounted at the tip.
 
in the ships section of the CIC you labelled a fralthra as a kamekh, you might want to fix that...
do we get to see super wc capships? did they use a different mesh for the Dralthi Mk2?
 
I've noticed that for ages, I use the CIC databases all the time. I may start my own database soon with really high res pics of ALL the WC ships, from ALL the WC games, it won't be that hard to do seeing as I own a copy of every WC game except Super Wing Commander. If I do the ship pics will be done so that the pic of the excalibur in the WC3 section IS the WC3 excal while for wc4 the pic is the WC4 excal, same with broadswords, longbows, Hellcats, thunderbolts, etc.
There will be detailed explanations for each of the craft including Accurate dates of service.

Well either way there's the info, I'm sure it'll get back to the guys at the CIC somehow and if it doesn't then that's their loss. we all know the truth don't we?
