i cannot make my first mission

hello,
my first mission said i have to jump to penders star and enroute to nexus....
i dont know how. with my autopilot i get to penders. at next i searched nexus....how can i get there.....(sorry for my bad english)

If your playing Privateer 1 for the first time, You cannot jump until you buy a jump drive. So don't bother taking missions that require jumps 'till you have one.

I think he is in Pender's Star? If so goto the jump point in Pender's Star that takes you to Junction, then up from there to Nexus.

Nexus might be another Quadrant (haven't played P1 in a while)? If so he'd need a Nav-Map upgrade (software shop).

not familiar with nexus. Are you playing an english version of Privateer? Maybe translated differently.

btw, it is unwise to pick multiple-system missions for a while. you should do a lot of patrols in troy's navpoints and base defenses too. when your ship is a lot better, then you should risk going out of troy.
