TommyGun

Spaceman
i remember playing WC on the super nintendo, i loved. i'm tempted to go dig both out right now and start playing again.

any way i had no idea that there were WC releases all the way up to 2007...i'd love to see a new release for the 360 some time soon.

but wow...most people i know have never heard of the game. it's great to see there are still fans out there

Always good to see a friendly ship!

Yes the CIC has been the home base for Wingnuts for more than a decade now.

Welcome to the CZ!

Welcome back - I'm very jealous, you've got literally a universe of great stuff yet to discover. Please stick around to post your new experiences, it would be interesting to hear the thoughts of somebody who started exploring the games in the 21st century.

Here are some free and legal Wing Commander games to get you started:

- Wing Commander 1
- Wing Commander 1 Secret Missions
- Wing Commander Unknown Enemy (Fan made)
- Wing Commander Standoff (Fan made)
- Wing Commander Secret Ops Originally released by Origin as a free download, now hosted on the Standoff site.

You know I started off with Secret Missions on the SNES then I leap frogged over WC2 and went into 3, in fact I think i traded in my WCSM kart for credit toward buying the PC version of WC3. It wasn't until Kilrathi Saga that I actually played all the way through the first three games.

I have played every WC game again and again (with the exception of Arena)
and I still find things I ve never noticed before.
I recently learned of the Sega Mega Drive CD version of WC1 that has SPEECH:eek:

damn I want that game :(

Welcome aboard Tommygun :)
