I probably should have mentioned this earlier, but I remember seeing that the Mass Driver in WC1 is rated as being more powerful than the Neutron Gun. 4.5 versus 3.0 IIRC. Now this makes little sense to me, since Neutrons, Mass Drivers, and Lasers were supposed to be strongest to weakest, shortest range to longest, respectively. Now, are these values derived from the KS manual, or is this another whoopsy in the stats?

That's what I thought. Ah, yoo hoo? LOAF? I'm pretty sure I read WC1 Mass Driver as being more powerful than the WC1 Neutron in your Gun Chart.

Trivial matter, I know, but I want to make sure what's going on.

I believe that's a typo -- the value should be 2.5.

So, 2.5 for Mass Drivers, 3.0 for Neutrons. That makes more sense - and the Mass Drivers' fast refire and relatively low energy consumption makes that gun punch through nearly any fighter in one pass.
