i recommend swat 3, i think it is just as realistic as rogue spear, but has a easier gameplay.

I thought about using Raven Shield, since it's based on the Unreal Tournament 2K3 engine-and GMax has a gamepack for UT 2K3, I just don't know what sort of extra modding software is availble, or necessary, for Raven Shield, that and I don't have Raven Shield or SWAT 3.
I would like to use something that already has tools readily available for as much as possible. In that instance C&C Renegade is my best option, because there already is a GMax game pack that will allow me to build new weapons, vehicles, character models, and maps on my own, and the texture converter is built into the gamepack. And I actually own a copy of Renegade.
You see I don't want to simply come up with a great idea, recruit people, and then sit back and let someone else do all the work. I want to at least have the ability to build maps. Duke 3D is great because the Build engine is a good hobby type editor, it's easy to replace everything in the game. I could knock out a brand new Duke 3D level, with new weapons and textures, in a few hours time-the sounds would take a little longer. So any tips on getting DOS games to run properly under Win 2K?
I'm thinking about using Red Faction or Max Payne, but I haven't had time to really evaluate the editing tools, because I'm in the middle of writing a book for the Star Trek series, writing my Echo War fanfic, and looking for a new job.
I don't know maybe it will all happen one day with a great 3D FPS, but who knows. As for using SWAT 3, I don't think I would. The realism is nice and all but I want to blow Shtuff up!

And when you're trying to arrest someone it just doesn't work out.
Anyway, I'm rambling and about 60% of this is probably just me talking out of my butt.
Nice trick, eh!
