Game Crashes when Mission Computer is Selected

Everytime I click on the Mission Computer, the game crashes. I tried both at the starting base and at the planet in the first area. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My roomie played the game and this would happen to him
I think he used the Arial font to make it go away
the one in setup.exe
