I fail to see the connection between Pokemon and Jurassic Park. Attack of the Giant Pikachu...nah, let's not go there. 
Anyway, I don't know anything about the new movie, but I'm pretty sure they're filming it here in Hawaii, and anything that brings in $$$ is A-okay with me, ya dig?
Back to the original focus of this thread...the French! (I'd insert a picture if I had any ^_^)

Did you know that in the French version of WC3,4 & P, the guy who dubbs Mark Hammil is the same who dubbs Scott Bakula in the French version of Quantum Leap. I found that great, cause I was a fan of both !

Hmm, that series "Qunatum Leap", is that about a poor guy always jumping around in time where he has to fix minor problems? And then that other guy (is it Al?) always appears as some sort of hololgram and tells him what to do? If it is that series, I loved it too but here in Germany it had the rather lame title "Back to the past" (only in German of course).

?This one has Sam Neill in it. No Goldblum...which was a disappointment to me. Anyways...
This one also has a fake dinosaurs. By that, I mean raptors with IQ's above 100 and raptors with feathers. The raptors are smarter than the humans...no big surprise, given that Sam Neill's character WILLINGLY went back into a situation with big, hungry dinosaurs...

Yet, I was also thinking about the series he made... like some Outer Limits episodes...
I have really no idea though, if it was the same guy from Star Wars and WC that dubbed him for those episodes as well...

In the trailers I saw, Sam Neils character goes along because supposedly their only flying over the Island but then they end up crashing.... ooooooh!
I've read the first two JP novels and The lost world movie has almost nothing in common with the movie other than the fact that there is another Island with dinosaurs on it. From what I saw in the trailer it looks like maybe the thrid movie will be all the great stuff that should have been in The Lost World. With any luck it will be, but I won't hold my breath.

They should have turned the Jurassic Park Sega CD game into a movie. That was really cool. Shortly after the first JP, they go back to the island to attempt to save the DNA. Unfortunatley, it's crawling with dinosaurs and other people trying to get the DNA. Really good game.
