i downloaded wc - cag, and now im looking for a java runtime enviroment. i am no expert on java, so i have no idea what the hell that is. ive tried searching the java website, but that only leads to confuse me. could someone shoot me a link?
There's a lot of different flavors of Java, and it can be really confusing for someone who doesn't know what they all are.
Go here (http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html), and download J2SE v 1.4.2_05 JRE, which is the Java Runtime Environment you'll need. That should have everything you need.
