exploratory service people??

I just finished the palan system missions, where you have to break the blockade n stuff....now I think i'm supposed to join some exploratory group or something...where do I do this?

When you put the two artifacts together, you could see a map of Gemini. The important part of the map was shown as being "up" and "left" of Palan. Head that way until you can't anymore.
