Battlestar Galactica wasn't a movie, it was a TV show that lasted 1 season that was canceled because it's production costs were too high.
And while in comparison to DS9 voyager is crap, it is better than no trek.

To be precise, there were at least two seasons. The second (?) was called "Galactica 1980" that took place when the guys reached Earth. It had flying bikes. :)
Oh well, it was many years ago and my brain isn't what it use to be.

Better do your homework again guys...

It was indeed also a TV series, but there were three movies made from the series as well...

I know, 'cause I have it on tape... :)
(hey! I liked that stuff back in the 80's... LOL)

Galactica 1980: Was 6 episodes that I do not consider part of Battlestar Galactica, because it was a butchered version. But yes technically you are right

Here is an interesting tidbit, in canada the pilot episode was released in theaters as a movie

GUYS GUYS GUYS!!! What is wrong with you? I have two GOOD reasons why Voyager is a top show. (possibly 3 for all the deviants out there...)

1. Seven of Nine

2. Kes

3. (for the deviants...hehe...JANEWAY!)

Now, let me reason number one.

Um, Jeri Ryan has THE perfect figure and a lovely face to boot. You've all seen her in that jumpsuit...YUMMY! Hey, I'll be assimilated by her any day! Resistance is FUTILE!

I wonder if shes anything like the Fembots from Austin Powers...huhuhuh

I apologise for my immaturity...NOT!

Also, I must mention, SAAB was a GREAT show, just a shame they didn't finish it.

What I loved so much about it was that it combined all the elements of Wing Commander that I love, yet was set in the foreseeable future.

Gotta agree with you on that one. They've been re-running DS9 at 11pm on UPN 20 for the last month or so. And they seem to have started in about the 5th season, so I've got to see a lot of the good Dominion War and Gul Dukat oriented episodes. I love what they did to him as a character over the course of the show. Watching it depresses me, though, because I know all I have to watch is Voyager.

Yes, DS9 was cool. Too bad the Fox affiliate here only shows it Sundays at 1 a.m. :(

And I think Voyager's just getting lazy. "Oh, I have a lame looking ridge on my nose... that makes me an alien!" Can't they spend more than fifteen minutes on makeup? ;) As much as I love Trek, Voyager needs to be put out to pasture (and it will be in May). Bring on Trek V!

Anyhoo, I never overly enjoyed Space: Above and Beyond, but if it's on Sci-Fi channel and nothing else is on, I'll usually check it out.

The next startrek, I say should attempt to bring back some fav. DS9 characters in some kinda cool show. I don;t like the birth of fed idea that is floating around. I say do what B5 did, have wars lots of wars (shadow war, sheridan's rebellion against Clark, Centauri War, ect.) I just had an idea, make an entire trek based around the mirror universe that DS9 peeps visited 3-4 times.

Or, the DS 9 is kidnaped by a powerful being on the other side of the galaxy and try to get home (since its a space station it will get home before voyager).
I hope that the next trek is a new ship, not some crazy ideas a la B5 series.
(Napoleon, there was few wars in star trek universe, only romulans and kligons had long wars with mankind, as far that we know.)
