Long Live the Confederation!
We're on our way to Dragon*Con! Yesterday the CIC staff (minus Kris) spent the day at the beach in Frosty's home town of Old Saybrook, CT (America’s eighth largest indigenous body of water). We had plenty of fun and some of us learned a very special lesson (don't go swimming in jeans). Next we're off to New York, New York for a very important mission - more on that soon! After that it's a race to Atlanta to set up for the convention... so stop by our table to see Wing Commander in action or just join us for whatever other zany adventures we come up with. We're always happy to hang out with other WingNuts!

Has anyone else noticed that it seems they all have the same cut and paste smile in EVERY single picture? Emotion people! ;)

Actually, that's what I'm thinking whenever I see Chris on a picture... But hey, he's the CIC merchandizing model (sort of), so I guess he just can't help it. :D (Aww, come on, at least it's a nice smile!)

I'm a bit concerned about LOAF, though. Something had to be terribly wrong with Frosty's dinner... Check the picture from August 27 - that's clearly where it all started! :p

Your homework for tomorrow: I want to see ChrisReid with an angry face and LOAF grinning like a Cheshire cat! :D

(No offense, guys! I know I'm grimacing and/or looking like a dork on 99% of all pictures I appear in, so look who's talking. :p )

Damn for as long as I've joined here I thought Chris was Loaf and Loaf was Chris.
 
Frosty, ace, blonde and I are at my house in Maryland resting tonight. Chris and Hades theoretically went straight through to Atlanta since they had to return a rental car, but we haven't heard from them... maybe they're lost forever.

Anyway, I think there's a picture of me holding like twenty empty beers and grinning somewhere. We can dig that up later...

We'll also probably have some cool pictures in a few days - we stopped at Gaia Industries in NYC to get a look at how Wing Commander Arena was made yesterday!

Those are some pictures I'm dying to see. Can't wait to see how your trip at Gaia went.

Well, the development team anyway. Sean is a producer with EA. He led the team in New York from Vancouver.
 
I'd like to go to DragonCon for the Firefly stuff too, I'm a big fan of Firefly/Serenity as well.

Is there a lot of booths for that?
