CZ Rankings..

There's also a cool rank thing that came with one of the games I think. It compares the ranks of different ranks, so a navy lt. outranks a sf lt, and a sf col. is the equivalent of a navy cap.

Are the ranks on the CZ based on Marine, Air Force, or Army rank structure?...

Space Force... 'gold' ranks are Space Forces, silver are Space Navy. The Space Forces ranking system is similar (but not identical) to the US Air Force scheme.

On the subject of Brits' ranking system, can you (or anyone) tell me why it is that I often hear Brits pronouncing the above rank as "Leftenant"?...

"Leftenant, SAH!"

Brits and other people in the Commonwealth are more than capable of pronouncing it the American way... they just don't.
