Control Problems in Prophecy

I'm having trouble with the sensitivity of the yaw axis.

I changed the default settings to map it to my rudder pedals (to conform to the behavior of other flight sims), but the control response is so sensitive that I find it all but impossible to keep the "crosshairs" on my target.

I've tried using the non-linear response curve in the control software for my pedals (CH Pro Pedals USB), but that just makes things worse - the initial response is too flat, resulting in my having to use large pedal movements which then suddenly transition into the very steep part of the curve.

1) Sims like IL2 or CFS3 allow very precise specification of control response curves using a series of sliders. WCP apparently doesn't have any control sensitivty settings, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of a 3rd-party application which allows editing of control response curves like that provided by IL2, CFS3, etc.

2) Alternatively, is my problem inherent in the fact that I'm mapping yaw to the rudder pedals? Prophecy defaults to mapping yaw to the joystick Y-axis, and roll to the pedals (the reverse of all other flight sims I've ever used). Is this really a necessity, i.e. is the yaw response just too sensitive to be controlled by the feet rather than the hand?

Or is the yaw behavior jsut something that takes time getting used to? What are other peoples experiences with this issue?

Thanks,
Sky

Cannot help either. My joystick software (Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar) would allow for more precise shaping of the response curve if I'd ever need it, so I never bothered to look for software solutions (if they exist at all).
