That's the main problem when doing a real campaign: I'll probably have to split you up into different wings, which means more scenarios running at the same time, which means more work for me (read:
too much work for me...).
For now, I'm going to solve this problem in the upcoming "mini-campaign" by not introducing new pilots, but working with veteran squadrons. Meaning you won't fly in teams of two and face two or three weak enemies at nav points - instead, you'll fly in a full-blown strike force, consisting of bomber wings, interceptor wings and escort wings. Your nav points, however, are going to be equally target rich environments.

Right now, I'm thinking of a small campaign spanning 3 to 4 scenarios. You'll get some points to spend on your (already advanced) characters, which will also help to decide which role you'll play during the campaign. E.g. if you choose to specialize on a Broadsword, you're going to be assigned to Broadswords exclusively - while you could be assigned to pilot a Rapier in one mission and a Sabre in another if your skills allow you to fly them both reasonably well.
(I'd also appreciate at least one volunteer to take over command of the enemy forces.)
