Hey i gotta question... what was up with the one you saw everytime you came into the forums... the guy in the leather jacket... who the hell was that? what was it an ad for?

What a dull insult exchange. Where’s the creativity?

I'd swill the diarrhea from a drunk's ass if it were a mere one percent proof before I wasted a creative insult on Ghost.

Yeah, he uses his more pathetic sayings/weitings and points of view in LJ, is so funny.

I have to say, I like the Wing Commander II movie ad (it was the first one I saw), with Hobbes stuck in with the apes. :)

They should though. Base it on WC2 and have an all star cast, it'd have everything we'd want from a movie. Action, drama, romance, maybe a little psychology thrown in as well. As long as they keep the Kilrathi unshaven :p it'd be great.

That's the trouble. Basing a WC movie on any WC game is only what we would want (and we'd know the story in advance, not much fun there). They tried to make a movie which could appeal to obsessive WC fans (ie most of us), casual WC fans, and the regular movie audience. Can't please everyone.

But please let's not have another WCM bashing session...

Nah, lets not when we can do it to those who are destructive because they do not want destruction. Dunno whether you heard but some anti war protestors have done something to the HMAS Sydney and gotten all of Sydney Harbour shut down. But that's off topic.

Concerning the movie, I can appreciate what was attempted in making Wing Commander how it should be and doing it in the style of Das Boot. I actually found it funny seeing how Devereaux acted and such. The highlight of the movie for me was thinking of her reaction that she'd be put in the Space Force at the rank of Captain and be just another grunt like the ones she bullied. :)

Off-topic indeed, but they couldn't stop her (the Sydney). She was only delayed for an hour, but those protesters' antics still sicken me.

Ah well, thinking about it too much can be depressing. (And watching Macross too much can be suicidal). Stick to Wing Commander, there's more than enough to enjoy there. :)
