What would be the one thing you would want to have in the next WC game? For me, it would multiplayer capability. then force feedback, more wc, then more wc.............
 
Well, Wing Commander, for starters. Let's not ask for too much, shall we? The programmers might not be allowed to even get started!
 
How about that freakin' new Wing Commander episode everyone of us is expecting?

But who would we fight in Wing Commander VI??? :confused:

Maybe a return of the Cats would be interesting, but not very original maybe...

How about adapting some of the novels into games, or putting us in the pre-WC I era playing some new pilot?

I'm sick of always 'defending' the Confederation. Why are we always on the defensive?

As for a prequel to WC, why not something involving these Pilgrims?
 
Because ConFed does not know were is the Bug space, they just opened a worm hole to the Kilrah system.
Besides do you see ConFed start a war like that? only after 5 years of Kilrathi raids did ConFed started to war against the Kilrathi empire.
 
Personally I would prefer it if they re-made wcIII and IV from the original masters in high dvd quality film, with a whole new graphics engine but with all the original missions. They could even re-do WCII fron the 3d-modelling files they used to make the cutscenes - imagine a WCII game that looked like those cutscenes. Hey I can dream right?!?
 
Well, if they are going to remake 2, 3 and for; let them remake all the games, or al least make a patch just like i-war. After you installed it, you can play it in 3D-fx. Or somehing like that, to make it look better.
 
I have to admit I'd love to play in the pre-WC1 area, maybe even mankind's war against the Yan.
But we first have to finish the bug story. I want to know who they are and where they come from. You cannot stop now.
But under no circumstances would I want to have a game involving the Pilgrim! This was the most stupid movie feature :mad: !
 
Actually, I think a game against the Pilgrims would be fairly interesting... fighting at Titan and such, serving with the Grand Fleets -- it could have a very interestin atmosphere to it.

Especially if tech we haven't seen before could be used by the Pilgrims, hopper drives, using them as weapons, using the extrasensory (or whatever it's called) ability some of the Pilgrims have.
 
Yeah, and a Pilgrim game could serve another purpose: Making all those people who say the Movie's not part of the WCU look like the jackasses they are!

Just kidding, folks; don't get excited... ;)
 
Sorry guys, but I haven't had the opportunity to read the novels (apart from hardly finding them in Australia). Who are the Yan? And what are these Grand Fleets.

The idea of huge fleets really sounds interesting. Perhaps massive fleet battles could occur, something like that episode of DS9 where there were 600 Federation ships against 1000 Dominion ships, only with a lot more class :D
 
Well, I'm no expert, but the Yan were an alien race that humanity encountered (and fought against) in... I think either the twenty-fourth or twenty-fifth century. LOAF?

And the Grand Fleets were big, Confed fleets designed to kick Pilgrim ass. Tolwyn commanded one, I think.
