Why is Confed selling weapons to the Landreich? Doesn't the Landreich NOT like Confed, to the point of wanting a war? Pretty stupid to sell weapons to your enemies. Even if they are older or obsolete ships, you said yourself LOAF in the WCInvasion forum "You don't sell big guns that blow up anything"

They're selling off old, decomissioned ships -- gutted light cruisers and escort carriers. The Landreich has to re-arm and refurbish them. (Much like how we disarm and sell obsolete ships).
The issue in question at the Invasion board was selling off a Confederation class Dreadnought -- a massive dreadnought which is built around a giant gun capable of destroying most other capital ships in a single shot... something Confed had something like five or six of total. Think in terms of today -- we may sell off World War II era destroyers, but we *won't* sell a Nimitz class carrier... <G>
