Can't Run Game

Downloaded Privateer remake and can't run it get an error I'm running winxp with a s3 unichrome km400 vid card and I get this error:
AppName: vegastrike.exe AppVer: 0.4.2.0 ModName: vticd.dll
ModVer: 6.14.10.198 Offset: 000c3f16

can you try downloading newer video drivers for your video card... I don't know much about that particular video card...
vticd.dll could be the video driver, but try disabling sound first...just to make sure
 
It is my video and I have the newest drivers installed they claim to use opengl but maybe the video card really isn't compatible which is a shame cause I used to love the old privateer and I can't even get the original running in xp no matter what I do....
