Hello everyone,

im looking for plueprints of all ships from WC4 and Prophecy because i want to build them as real wood models. Until now i have only found the hornet. It would be great if anyone can help me finding good blueprints (a link would be enought).

If there are no blueprints available maybe someone has a collection of all the ingame meshes (geometry data would be enough). I know there are several extractor tool, but after 10 years i am shure someone has already extracted the files from WC4 and Prophecy and converted them to 3DS or something that can be imported in max or maya.
I am just interrested in the original proportions and size of the ships.
 
There are a few patterns around for making some paper wc ships which should help you make a balsa wood version.

You can certainly extract the 3D models (and we have them for download somewhere in our archive)... but figuring out what they actually mean in terms of gemoetries and such is beyond my abilities.

I think you could definitely make a decent set of plans using these, as long as you watch out for some strange symmetries (or lack thereof) in the meshes. At one point, I noticed the Hellcat was not quite symmetrical, so you may want to cut off half of the mesh and mirror the other side to get a proper setup if necessary.
