Could be bad downloads, y'know. I got Ripper5 not long ago, they should be okay.

There was a problem with one of the WC3 RM downloads though, dunno if that ever got fixed.
 
Ripper 5 just doesn't work on some systems. Not sure why, but it just gives a runtime error when you try to run it.
 
Nothing wrong with Ripper 5.

I know the WC2 demo, the WC4 missing scene and the Erin Roberts P2 clip are corrupt. I'll look into getting working copies up. If you discover any other corrupt files, just let us know at news@ or support@, and not on the Chat Zone. Oh, and do tell us which one, as we don't have time to download and attempt to extract every single one.
 
Erin Roberts clip fixed, Ripper is still fine, like it's always been. Working on the WC2 Demo and WC4 Hidden scene.

Actually, it doesnt like anyoperating systems except dos, win 3.1, and win 95 only. wont run on 98 or above. at least i ever got it too. So thats whats prolly wrong with that.
 
I have managed to get it working on this pc before. I guess it could either be memory settings, perhaps EMS, don't know

hmm, i just know i could only get it to work on 95, and since i had a machine that ran 95, i just networked it and ran it on that! Im lazy.
 
When you say Ripper5 doesn't work on Win98, do you mean not work at all or just won't extract stuff properly? 'Cause it runs fine on my Win98 (Original), but I can't be sure if the extraction routines are working the best.
 
Quite possible. Are there any other extraction utilities thatwould do the job? either dos or windows based

btw, yep it doesn't work at all from scratch (those silly run time errors)
